friday updates from L.A.

Bonjour, it's Leah. Just wanted to check in before the I officially head off to winter break (which is approximately in 43 minutes).

It has been a good day for Wink. After 2 days of sales, we have sold about 60% of our goods! YEAH US! But it ain't over yet. We plan to SELL OUT. Hopefully we do by January! So if you have not yet purchased our WON-DER-PHULL copy, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

@Beth Kramer: We are sooo glad you love this issue! I too think everyone did an AMAZZZZZING job and credit goes to all the winkees.

On a side note, I just saw the weirdest thing ever. Teachers playing catch-phrase with each other. I often forget that teachers have a life outside their little teacher clusters. This idea really is... foreign.

Well that's it from me. Have a happy Friday! Like the french say, "Dieu merci, c'est vendredi!"

Cuddles, love and warmth,
Leah

P.S. Lindsay, am i forgetting anything?

The Best Christmas Gift Ever!

Howdee-doodee...

Need something special for a special someone for this special time of year? Well, special gifts are our SPECIALTY.

Wink: Volume 3, Issue 1 WILL BE DONE PRINTING @ 4:30 PM!!! Just in time for the holidays!

And its $3, cheaper than a Jamba juice. Totally worth it. Definitely, completely worth it. Want to order one now? Can't wait to go buy it at lunch? Then click "Purchase Wink" in the sidebar of our website (This link, if you're viewing this blog in blogger, and not embedded in the page.) We'll e-mail you and arrange a time ASAP to deliver it!

Lindsay and Leah literally jumped up and down with joy and even shouted like those little cute groupies when we saw the proof. (Something totally against Leah's personal ethics but she likes to make exceptions.)

We were impressed with this issue. Considering that our current bunch on winkies were complete newbies, this issue looks STUNNING. The contents are just as amazing; Westview students produced great things. Here's an excerpt from the editor's letter:
[Find] yourself a cozy chair and a cup of fresh hot chocolate and spend some time with this delightful and hilarious issue. "Thanksgiving" (pg. 4) will remind you of how normal (or abnormal) your family actually is during the holidays. "The Gypsy" (pg. 13) belongs in Chicken Soup, not our humble magazine, with its ability to warm souls. And when everything's getting too optimistic for your own good, read "...bathrooms" (pg. 19) to remind you how bad life can be.
The Wink Editors

P.S. Don't wait to order or purchase your copy. There are only 102 copies left!
